Dustin Beardsley is a freelance trumpet player in New York City.
Dustin has performed across the country and internationally with several Broadway tours: How the Grinch Stole Christmas! (2021, 2019), A Chorus Line (2018), The Producers (2015–16), and Guys and Dolls (2014–15). He held the chair as trumpet player for the New London Barn Playhouse’s summer season for three years (2013-15). Dustin has also toured select dates supporting Paul Anka’s Anka Sings Sinatra tour.
In New York City, Dustin can be heard in a number of settings, including: musical theater pits, singer-songwriter horn sections, studio sessions, big bands, jazz combos and classical ensembles.
Earning his Bachelor of Music at New York University, Dustin graduated magna cum laude and was the recipient of the Outstanding Jazz Student Award for his graduating class.
In addition to playing, Dustin works as a mix engineer, horn arranger, and educator.
Dustin performs on a Bach LT43 and Bob Reeves mouthpieces.
